MTN unable to assist with account opened using *****

Someone committed ***** and took a cellphone contract using my name. I tried to contact MTN without any success. Everytime I phone a number, I will be transferred to many numbers without any assistance. The non-payment of a cellphone contract is negatively affecting my credit record.
