MTN *****ulent sim swap - no protection

My MTN number which I have had for more than 20 years was *****ulently swapped. After numerous attempt by an MTN Shop to reverse the sim swap or get my number back, the matter was escalated to MTN *****. 15 days later, with follow ups in between, I still have not heard from MTN except automated responses. I'm advised that, unlike Vodacom, MTN has no security to protect its customers from *****ulent sim swap. My advice, port your MTN number to another service provider.
