MTN too busy to talk to you

I received my MTN bill where an amount of R565,20 for 'data charges' was included on my bill. I do not normally purchase data as I have a monthly bundle, but due to necessity during a holiday in July I needed to purchase an extra bundle. After several unsuccessful attempts to purchase it via MTN services I eventually purchased one via my banking app, so I queried these 'data charges' via direct message on twitter, quoting both the invoice number as well as my account number. I was asked for my ID number and my MTN pin, and I gave my ID number but said that I could not remember my pin. No response after that, nothing.

I then sent the same message on Facebook. After this also received no response. I then posted the query directly onto the MTN page and got a response along the lines of 'we're busy, we'll get back to you', which they still haven't, 4 days later...

This is not a complicated question I'm asking. I'm merely querying an amount on my bill. Why does MTN not want to talk to me?

Good day Alwill,

Thank you for taking time to raise your concerns with MTN. Please accept our apologies for the delay in reverting to you with a response. We will be taking the non-response of your queries with the social media management team for an investigation.

Yes, i can confirm, you ran a bill for your data sessions on 28 July 2018. This amount is as a result of those sessions on the day.

I hope all is in order.

Warm regards

Thank you for your reply. Follow up questions: I have the tweets I sent you guys regarding my issues with recharging my data using your services, this went on for half an hour until I recharged using a bundle I bought through my banking app. Are you telling me that in the half hour to an hour it took me to buy more data I racked up R560 in out-of-bundle data charges by not being on the internet? Or did one of my attempts to buy a bundle go through and was I charged for that? I was constantly checking my available data before to see when it would run out and when it did I was unable to access any internet except for twitter which I only used to contact MTN. I did not use, could not use anything once my data was depleted. How can I get an itemised bill for that time, because I do not understand what you are charging me for
