MTN thinks its above the law

I have been struggling to get MTN to contact me regarding arrangement to pay my account. My account started getting into arrears in 2017 July, I made payment end of December 2017 and set up a debit order to ensure this does not happen again. They only contacted my July 2018 and informed me that no payment has been received for 12 months and they are suspending my account. They then proceeded to cut off my entire incoming sms and calls. I have been trying to get them to agree to a payment arrangement and to allow for my incoming calls and sms to at least be allowed as this is my only way of communication with a sick husband, my other creditors, my family and also potential employers. They have no record of them contacting me since December 2017 as confirmed by several employees I spoke to. If I contact the toll-free number they simply log a call, and say I must 3 to 5 days. This has been going on from beginning of July, we are almost at the beginning of September. I cannot contact them directly and my emails are not answered. As per my last conversation they tried to call me but my phone is busy. No way?! You cancelled that service! As I cannot take personal calls at work, I provided them with an alternative number that is only usable in my lunch hour. From 12pm to 1pm. No calls have been received and no feedback. I am being fobbed off and I feel that it was their duty to have informed me in a timely manner if I am getting into a debt I am unable to repay, I would have ensured that payment is made to ensure I do not get into deep debt. I have had it. If MTN does not provide me with a resolution I am continuing on to legal action
