MTN - theft by default

<p>My husband took out a data package with MTN; the contract had passed the 2 year mark so he called in to cancel it. Being under the impression that it had been cancelled as requested, we proceeded to "use" the leftover data assuming that since it was cancelled, it would stop once the data had run out. I then received a whopping R2000 bill, debited from my account, and again the following month. We have been trying to resolve this but the level of incompetence is absolutely astounding! </p> <p>Their email template states 'we apologize for the delay in responding to your email". - I've recieved close to 10 apologies for not responding, no one seems to be able to read, I have dealt with so many people who have done nothing but pass the buck, I honestly cannot believe such a gross waste of resources. Is there an incentive for seeing how long the most nr of people can avoid helping? I even told them that I was giving them an opportunity to fix it before I resorted to social media, nobody cared. I guess it's so bad, bad publicity is the norm? If there is 1 competent person at MTN who actually cares about the survival of your business, please call me? </p>
