MTN - THE WORST SERVICE PROVIDER IN SA

To one of the “LEADING” services providers in South Africa - MTN.

If I could rate you a ZERO star I would!

From the moment I decided to go with MTN it’s been an utter nightmare. The service I have received from EVERYONE at MTN has been pathetic. I actually feel sorry for the CEO, Directors and Shareholders of the company because if your staff cannot assist me with basic tasks like making sure my debit order runs on the date I have instructed, I would HATE to see what the outcome of more complex tasks would be.

Firstly, I schedule a debit order to run off on the 1st of every month. MTN don’t do their job and my account doesn’t get debited BUT I get an email to say my account will be suspended if payment is not received. THIS HAPPENS TWICE IN TWO MONTHS!!! I then call in and tell the call centre agent, don’t worry I will go into a store and make the payment, thinking I will be making their life easier.

One month goes by and no issues. Then I get another email to say I need to pay the account by the 15th of that month or else my line gets suspended. I then say to the agent, I get paid on the 25th so I can only make payment then. I get informed that it becomes a payment arrangement and little do I know, my ITC was affected and now shows I missed a payment. Do MTN care about my ITC… NO, they don’t care about any of their clients and customer service, they are just disgusting to deal with!

I then call another useless, untrained and soon to find *********** agent and say debit my account ON THE 25th OF EVERY MONTH, little did I know that MTN would debit me on the 23rd, two days before pay day.

And finally, today, the day where I actually cannot take MTN anymore, YOU DEBIT MY ACCOUNT ON THE 21st!! FOUR DAYS BEFORE PAY DAY!! AFTER I CONFIRMED WITH YOUR PATHETIC STAFF THAT IT WILL RUN OFF ON THE 25TH, YOU DEBIT MY ACCOUNT!!!!!

DONT WORRY, WHEN MY SON ASKS ME WHY I CANT FEED HIM THIS WEEK I WILL TELL HIM MTN TOOK OUR LAST BIT OF MONEY FOR THE WEEK👍🏽!

I HOPE THIS FINDS SOMEONE AT MTN AND THEY CAN CALL ME SO I CAN TAKE THEM THROUGH WHAT I HAVE BEEN THROUGH!

THE WORTH PART OF IT ALL IS THAT I CANNOT EVEN GET OUT OF THIS CONTRACT, EVEN THOUGH I HAVE TO DO THE WORK YOUR EMPLOYEES ARE SUPPOSEDLY TRAINED TO DO!

I HOPE PEOPLE SEE WHAT I HAVE TO DEAL WITH AND YOUR SHAREHOLDERS CAN SEE HOW BADLY YOUR EMPLOYEES AND SYSTEMS ARE AND PULL OUT THEIR SHARES BEFORE THE USELESS EMPLOYEES RUN YOUR SHARE PRICE DOWN!
