MTN - The Worst Service Ever

I took my phone to the Middelburg Mall MTN on 12 January 2015 for repairs. Kaylin, the lady assisting me, said it would take ? 4 weeks for my phone to be repaired. After 5 weeks I phoned the call centre to be informed that my phone is not a MTN phone. I enquired this with the acting branch manager, Mcebo, who, after calling the call centre, gave me the same message. Only to inform me a few days later that they have now realized that it is in fact a MTN phone. However, I need to pay R330 after which my phone will be sent back to the branch and has to be resubmitted to repairs and will take another 4 weeks and I have to pay another R330. I informed Mcebo that I will pay the R330 to have my phone returned, but will take it somewhere else to repair (at my own cost). On 02 March 2015 I made the payment (just to get my phone) and received an e-mail stating that my phone will be returned within 2 - 48 hours. Today is the 13th and I still don't have my phone. No one at the branch knows what is happening. When they call the call centre, the line is cut because the service is temporarily off line.<br> PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!! I just want my phone back, whether repaired or not

Hello eugdes,

Thank you for your post.

Please accept our apologies for the break down in service in one of our touch points and for any inconvenience experienced.

We note however that the details of the handset have been left out i.e. the Job card number or the IMEI number for the handset in question for us to track the handset.

Rest assured, it is not our intention to displease you. We look forward to improving on the service delivery to you.

Regards,
