MTN THE WORST IN AFRICA

If could rate MTN less than 0 I would. I have (soon to have 0) two agreements with MTN. POOR SERVICE, POOR SYSTEMS, YOU ARE SENT IN CIRCLES. No proper complaints management process.

1. A generic contract which I cancelled in Nov 23. This contract had expired hence no charges should have been charged. I was charged R1800 for a contract which was roughly R300pm. I called and this was confirmed as an error (that's fine I guess). The response was that they cannot refund me anytime soon, and I should request my bank to reverse the charge (which costs me money) wow.

2. I got the month to month 35mbps deal with MTN for R550 pm. I was charged a total of R881.57 + R150 for a contract connection with regard to the R881.57, they cannot explain how any why that billing occurs, each consultant has a different reason (i.e., its prorata, its a month in advance, etc) all of which do not make sense if you read the contract agreement. BTW Rain does not have ANY of these charges, it one charge. I have now decided to change to Rain and never ever again will use MTN again.
