MTN THE (NON) CANCELLATION CHAMPIONS.

My daughter resides overseas. She requested me to cancel her MTN contract account BA***. She granted me power of attorney to do effect the cancellation. However, MTN is adamant that she should contact them. Telephonically is impossible being overseas. She mailed them without any success. All this happened about April 2020 if not mistaken. I was sent from pillar to post, again no success. 13 AUGUST 2020 she received a notice from them regarding a R95. 00 payment outstading in order to cancell the contract. I went and paid immediately on the same day with request to cancell. We now notice they have tried to debit her savings account every month and in in December 2020 with R296. 50. Although according to their records the account was cancelled during September 2020. I have been trying and really trying ascertain what 's going on but even their last correspondence does not make sense and I am not willing to let my daughter pay for their mistakes. I will settle for the R95. 00 nothing more. I personally had a similar experience which was resolved about 6 months later.
