MTN - the most expensive cellphone operator in SA at it again...

Hi everyone/to whom it may concerns,

Why I am posting on this site...it is literally impossible to get hold of a call centre operator of MTN, which I have tried twice, with no avail to get through to SOMEONE to speak. At the mall at the MTN Shop, one cannot afford to stand queue, time as well as, one is working during the week and day time, will definitely not waste my time on a Saturday or Sunday there. I am at the point that I feel, what will it help to try to make contact anyway. It is JUST ANOTHER complaint, nobody will care....

1. I have received on 18 Oct 2022, 24 (twenty four) emails in my inbox, with their MTN documents about the monthly usage/detailed billing/tax invoice for 3 accounts (numbers) I have with MTN. Really, 24 emails.... would it not be only like a few emails? What happened? Wondered if this happened with all MTN clients?

2. Now this one which was which lured me to list this on Hello Peter! I am sure, perhaps other MTN users also had this, this morning? Early morning today, like in 03:46 - 03:55am I receive 7 (seven) sms's from MTN back-to-back ting-ting-ting all the time, (my husband even asked, what is that all about?), that they have emailed me the billing....like really.... I AM SLEEPING! I had to have my phone on as well as sound, to be able to operate my alarm clock (I have an old phone), to be able to wake for work in time. Usually one does not switch off one's phone in SA, because if you have to phone in an emergency, one's phone should be always on, and at that WHEE time of the morning! Sometimes banks could be culprits as well....

Come on, MTN.... get a grip! Can't you send messages during business hours - I am sure you guys being in IT really, can rectify this. And don't tell me "someone's finger slipped" with the programming, it was a technical fault... So, if I say "oh my money EFT this month slipped to you...." please then give me slack as well. Sleep disturbance is not the way to go, especially if you have received like half a day earlier all the many emails of the same topic already, why send the SMS as well?

Just asking, MTN, or whoever....
