MTN -the fish rots from the top down
The old adage ,"the fish rots from the head down " is proven once again with MTN - the CEO Charles Molapisi sits in his ivory tower and collects a fat cat salary and has no interest in what is going on in his organization. This attitude permeates right down to the switchboard operators and all other staff. This approach causes laziness and lack of customer care and loyalty towards its customers. When a team leader refuses to resolve issues as I have recently experienced with Ronsley Jacobs it shows the integrity of the organization. I was made an offer which i accepted, I was then told that there was no more stock and that MTN was not ordering more and that they had checked all branches and there were no more S23 units available and I should pay more for an upgraded unit - is that how MTN works - then I hear nothing - 2 weeks later I get a call from a sales person Refile who offers me the S23 unit and advises there are many in stock ???? You cannot contact anyone at a senior level to discuss these thing with - you are referred to a customer don't care department who after 2 weeks have not responded - there is no executive office to deal with problems -clearly they are making too much money and just don't care- and this comes from the top all the way down- how very sad for a company just under 30 years since inception.
