MTN-The Biggest theives in the Business!!!

I took out a new cell phone contract with MTN two weeks ago.I moved from MTN to Vodacom, and regret doing so.I recharged my contract phone with R20 on the day I got it, as it is a top up contract.I checked and the balance and it reflected that I had done so.The next day I checked again, and the balance was zero, despite me not using the funds.I phoned the call centre. The agent looked into my account, and saw that I had recharged, and that the funds had disappeared for no reason. She promised that they would be returned into my account within 24 hours. When this had not happened,I called into the call centre once again, and once again the same promise was made. This occurred numerous times over the next few days.On Monday,I called into the call centre once again, and was told that there wasn't any record of the recharge, and that I should send proof.Naturally I was furious, and demanded that my contract be cancelled, with no early termination fees payable. The agent told me that I could cancel my contract, but since they could resolve my problem,I would be liable for early cancellation fees.
I also recharged my prepaid cell phone, and funds disappeared from it too.

This is unacceptable!!!

Hello Cl.areqs,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

I am terribly sorry for the inconveniences experienced as a result this. I completely understand the frustration it causes. Please note that a credit has been passed on your account for R20.00 for missing airtime.

Best regards
Mantoa
