MTN the biggest ****mers in South Africa

MTN is one hell of a ****, the biggest of them all - since it is operating formally. It is reaping customers off by charging some exorbitant activation fees, particularly on the month-to-month contracts, as well as charging R150 for a simcard which is usually 1c or R1 on pre-paid. You ask yourself why that much difference, it is more like them letting contracts subsidize the prices of simcards - without us knowing. They also advertise a router at a price of R5999 to whoo customers to say it is free, but yet the router is refurbished and not new, and when you cancel the contract they bill you for R5999 - yet they said it is free. They are such a sham, and complaining to them does not help as they just reply with a generalized or automated reply to say "your query has been resolved - while you still sitting with a problem. Additionally they add additional amounts a month later, after signing up, to say you did not pay the full amount at the point of sale. I believe Competition Commission needs to step in to this bad business practices by network providers.
