MTN terrible service again

I can confidently say that the majority of the stress I experience has come from MTN, I am shocked at the level of incompetency and lack of efficiency, I would go as far as describing their service as abusive, I would like nothing more than to cut ties with them but even that has proven to be a very difficult task.

In February of 2016 I requested that I pay off my remaining contract bill and switch to prepaid, I have numerous emails asking this of MTN from retentions, following advice from MTN pavilion to just wait until the contract was up to save costs, I then experienced my data being depleted by the minute, after countless calls to customer care, numerous in store visits months of back and forth emails I decided to take a break from the frustration and run-around games I had been playing because it was taking up too much of my time.

Moths later I was notified my account was with legal and that I had an amount outstanding and the amount kept increasing, I then got an email saying I should pay an amount of R1735.00 which I paid on the 2 October 2016, I have again been given the run around from both MTN and the legal department and constantly being told they are emailing and I should wait for a response.

At this point I don't have the time energy or emotional capacity to be going through this with any business, most of the customer service personnel are not informed about procedures, the information differs from person to person there is no system or consistency.

I have asked to speak to a person who has authority or more knowledgable but it's always line managers and promises of escalating the issue and sorry.

I'm tired of apologies All I want is some quality service, I want my line to be connected again is that too much to ask?

I would not recommend MTN services to anyone, and plan to cut ties with them as soon as possible.

I am appalled, frustrated upset

Very displeased customer

Hi Nompumelelo

thankyou for getting back to me, you posted this response on the 13 th and now it's the 18 th and still no one has contacted me or reverted to me.

What are my options at this point ? It's clear I'm going to get the run around again.

Do do I have to opt for legal action?

Mtn is playing with me .
