MTN Terrible
My MTN prepaid number got deactivated without prior notification. I still don't know why it got deactivated and I'm battling to get it activated again. I keep being passed from one department to the other and nobody can actually solve the issue.
I've also been at the MTN store a few hours after I noticed the number was deactivated where they confirmed the number was wrongly deactivated. They called the MTN prepaid helpdesk (as I've also done numerous times) and I was informed that it would take 24-48 hours to get the number activated again.
It came to no surprise that the number was not activated after this period. Once again I was bounce around like a juggling ball from department to department only to be told that I need to head back to the MTN store to get the number activated.
What kind of BS is this? It's no fault of mine that the number was deactivated in the first place and now it's costing me time and money to get the issue resolved. Absolutely terrible from MTN.

Kindly note that we tried to call and confirm the prepaid number required without success, the phone was not answered @ 13:33 pm, again @ 13:38 , and we left a voice mail for you at 13:45 pm.
When a prepaid number has not made a billable call within a period of 90 (ninety days) it gets deactivated.
Kindly contact 135 for further assistance.

Thanks for the reply. I got this resolved eventually. The MTN shop assisted me correctly the 2nd time round. It's just very frustrating that I had to go there on my own time and cost to get it resolved.
