MTN TELL LIES
Good day. I'm Nicola McLeod.
• I recieved a phonecall 12 December. I have a screenshot. I was told MTN revised my contract and would like to give me extra minutes without extra charge. Said I would be charged less pm. I asked her if my debit order will become more and asked many questions where she put me at ease.
• End of January came and MTN started charging me R699 instead of R509
• After phoning over 7 numbers and talking to countless people who couldn't find that phonecall, couldn't reverse my "package upgrade" that I have not given concent to and couldn't help me in any way whatsoever. After being told my package was reverted to normal, after month nothing changed. I was told by many over the phone I won't be helped in store but went anyway and was told they wouldn't help if I don't have a pile of documentation including - Affidavit from police - Certified copies of many things - Proof of residence - Bank statements & more
They were rude and not in the mood to help
I found it astounding as I gave a load of documents the day I signed my contract there.
• I was told numerous times in different phone calls it would get fixed but it's not. MTN has overcharged me a total of R800 this year going onto 1K & because of lockdown and lost business I was forced to dispute my debit order of R700. Upon that I was hoping to get MTNs attention, instead I was completely cut off. Cannot recieve or send anything of any kind. Despite MTN technically owing me R800. A voiceover tells me my contract has been suspended and I should contact MTN. How am I supposed to do that without any way of contact?
I have been without signal for days without any help.
• Please find the phonecall that has been said to me is recorded. 12 December 2019 on ***. I 100% never agreed to paying this amount and I was blatantly **** to. After research I've noticed many people I know who have suffered under this white collar crime. It should be *******. I have told this story over a 100 times. I have a list of numbers and a log of when I phoned some sort of support to try and get this fixed. I also have my bank statements and a list of people this also happened to.
• Please fix my debit order to my original amount and reactivate my contract. I am not paying the money back that I disputed because MTN still owes me R100 but I am willing to put it under the rug if this gets fixed.
I have cried and fought for months without any success. Have tried every platform and number or email I can find with absolutely no success. I have been patient enough. I will not give up. I will try everyday until this is fixed.
Regards Nicola
