MTN take my money but doesn't respond to my cancelation
Last year May/June 2020 my Mtn Contract expired and I wanted to cancel my subscription but after trying to phone the customer care numbers several times I couldn't get through to them. Due to Covid they worked remotely and after trying for about two weeks with no luck I saw that MTN was still deducting subscription money via a debit order. I instructed the bank to put a stop order on the debit order. It was only reasantly that I received a call from a lawyer that told me that I was handed over by MTN due to the arrears amounts after my contract expired. I went to the MTN branch where I took the contract out and a very friendly Consultant advised me that none of my details were registered on there systems. Unfortunately I do not have access to a computer and could not send and email but I've kept records of all the times I've tried to.phone the Customer Care Number.
