MTN SWINDLE

I bought a SIM card, preloaded with airtime, from Pick and Pay Norwood for my son as I was about to buy him a phone. The phone I that I eventually bought for my son was however Vodacom locked… The MTN sim sat unused for a month and a half. I then tried using it on my IPad to no avail. I complained to the MTN franchisee at Norwood about this only to be told that my Sim had been deregistered and my number recycled!!! Mind you this SIM card came with preloaded airtime! I was told there’s nothing they can do as the Sim hadn’t been used for a month, a term and condition that they weren’t aware of themselves cause they understood that sim’s were discontinued and recycled after a month of not being used… What is infuriating is that they themselves don’t know some of these ridiculous Terms and Conditions that aren’t explained to us as customers yet we are supposed to know them!!!! The treatment I received from MTN is borderline ********!!!
