MTN Suspends without prior notice

My mom has been with MTN for 17 years and in the last few yars the service has been extremely extremely poor... With this whole new 'credit limit' thing... practically every month the account gets suspended because the credit limit is reached... Now I can understand that,,, what I can't fathom is why do we get the notice after the account is suspended?Surely there should be a way to prevent it by like paying in so we avoid this situation? We get the sms with the maoutn to be paid in by the 1st, that is paid... if we are close to the limit... shouldn't the amount needed to pay in should cover what is needed?

I am so sick of this! We have two contracts with MTN thatare linked to one account and now both phones are suspended! What if we have a legit emergency? I'm not disputing thefact that money has to be paid, WHAT I AM DISPUTING IS WHY WEREN'T THERE PRIOR NOTIFICATIONS? PLEASE SOMEONE FROM THIS ACCURSED COMPANY MUST EXPLAIN RIGHT THIS MOMENT WHY IN AN AGE OF ENDLESS TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCES- WHY CAN'T SOMEONE SEND A MESSAGE A DAY PRIOR TO SUSPENSION SO WE MAY PREVENT IT? DOES MTN WANT TO SUSPEND ACCOUNTS TO CHARGE A RECONNECTION FEE?
