MTN supports *****....

On the 2nd of May 2018 my phone indicated that my sim card is not provisioned. I dialed 135 and I informed them that my phone was giving me an error, they said that my sim was rica barred. I was surprised as I was using my phone all along. The consultant told me that the system did that automatically. They told me to go to any MTN shop with my ID number and prove of residence and my phone was back to normal. on the 4th of May 2018 I experience another problem and my phone showed an error that my sim was not registered on network. I called 135 to report an error that was showing on my phone. I spoke to one of the consultant at MTN and she told me that my sim was swapped at 13:30 the same day. She told me to use the same phone to call MTN, but I indicated to her that my number was barred and couldn't dial out nor receive any calls. She told me that I need to phone them using an MTN number to report the error. I called using the MTN number to ask them to reverse the sim swap that was made on my card as I never swapped my sim and MTN never called me to confirm that. I requested her to reverse the swap, but she told me to wait 24hrs. I totally panicked and went to MTN shop at Mall of New Market in Alberton. When I was at the shop the guy who assisted me told me that the constant that did my sim swap was Khetani M. He told me that he couldn't help as they only deal with contracts and not prepaid. I then waited for 24hrs in vain. on the 5th of May I waited but my phone was still not working. On the 6th of May @13:30 I dialed 135 and spoke to a consultant, who couldn't assist me, then I requested to talk to her Manager by the name of Mbali Maduna, who told me that my sim was ported to Cell C. I asked her how she can help me as the porting was never done by me. I told her that someone is attempting to use my card to transact from my account. The person failed to transact as the OTP was sent to my FNB application. Clearly my phone was swapped with an intent of committing ***** and the consultant who did sim swap could be responsible as the sim was swapped 3 times and ended being ported to cell C. I'm taken back by the lack of MTN to assist me. I'm their client and I was supposed to get the first preference, not the *****. MTN shops are useless as they claim to assist contractors only. I decided to call Cell C who gave me an excellent service than my service provider. Steven from Cell C portal department told me that they will reverse the porting that was done by MTN. I was served better by Cell C than MTN whom I have 2 contracts and one prepaid. MTN is not interested in helping me even though someone is attempting to withdraw money from my account. I wonder if they are protecting one of their own.

Thank you so much Alice, I hope MTN hire professional employees like you in future. The service you gave on behalf of your institution is far different than the service I received since I incurred this problem.
