MTN supports ********* rather than loyal customers

On 19 Nov 2015 my contract MTN phone was ****** at about 6pm. I immediately tried to call MTN to cancel/blacklist the SIM & phone but discovered that their contract department does not operate outside of business hours. I therefore called them first thing on 20th & cancelled/blacklisted SIM & phone. However, I then discovered that in the interim, at 2am on 20th, the SIM had been used in another phone to perform two transactions:

1) R200 was transferred out to another MTN no. (a prepaid phone) & this cost was charged to my account
2) All 25,000 loyalty points on my account were cashed in for R400 airtime, which then remained on my account

MTN says that this R400 will be cancelled/expire (unused) on 20 Feb, so this credit will simply be wasted & all my points lost

I asked MTN at a branch & 4 times on 808 call centre to reverse these transactions but they refuse to. They keep referring queries to a \back-office\" that says they won't reverse the points transaction because \"the customer had not blacklisted the phone\". They refuse to address the fact that they were CLOSED at the time & persist in blaming me. Instead of supporting my loyalty, MTN will now \"*****\" R400 from me as well!"
