Mtn summer 2020 - a catch

I have been a mtn patron for the last 10 years

I recently upgraded my contract at the mtn store . While discussing with the consultant . He had explained me the best unit for me would be the Samsung Galaxy note 20 . Not forgetting this comes in at a hefty price aswell . He also explained that I will receive a 2000 rand voucher to be used online . Just follow the simple steps on whatsapp and it will be done. Amidst the crazy covid pandemic. And budget being tight. I guessed why not . Let's go for the deal.

After receiving the mobile on the 2nd of December 2020 I have been trying to get into contact with mtn summer promotions for the voucher . They respond saying The proof of purchase cannot be verified. Please ensure purchase date, store name and product is clearly visible. I resend the clear copy and its like an automated response . They reply the same .

They send me a mail saying please send us your invoice . And I do so . No reply at all . 6 days and counting .

Today I call in , I spoke to waseela. She responds . Sorry Only for personal clients. Not for business .

Please note MTN . I would like to reverse this contract. Or compensate me for my voucher. I have been mis informed into taking this contract . With regards to the voucher . As I needed to also purchase some goodies for my Note 20

Really appalled at this service and deceit
