MTN SUCKS !!!! VODACOM ROCKS !!!!!
I ordered my NEW cell phone SAMSUNG S6 EDGE through MTN Corporate and 3 days later I had the misfortune of the phone being faulty due to the backlight not going off.
I reported the matter to MTN and the phone was immediately collected by the RTT courier company.
I mentioned to MTN that it was a business phone and that I needed my new phone urgently to which I was promised.
Yesterday , a WEEK later when I called to follow up on the status of my phone ,I was told by their consultant that their warehouse still had not registered the returned phone and THAT I SHOULD CONTACT THE COURIER COMPANY.
Thinking that it was a courier issue I agreed and called the courier company only to find out that THEY STILL HAD IT IN THEIR POSSESION because MTN is doing a STOCKTAKE which should be done by FRIDAY !
Due to me being so upset I was then asked by RTT to phone MTN directly and ask if they would accept my phone at their warehouse and then only delivery arrangements can be made.
SERIOUSLY !!! MTN get your act together and communicate HONESTLY with your customers.
I am now assuming that MY NEW PHONE will take an additional +- 2 weeks or more to get to me BECAUSE OF YOUR STOCKTAKE
