MTN Sucks

I have been with MTN since the early nineties however in the last couple of years their service has been shocking. Not only is their website absolutely useless but so is their MTN App. I received a call from someone claiming to be from MTN advising me that someone is trying to do a sim swap on my number. He kept on sending me OTP's from the MTN App asking me to confirm the OTP's over the phone to him. He then said that a Mr David Lategang is trying to make a payment from my ABSA bank card, and he needs me to read to him my card number. When I said to him that he must read the number to me, and I will confirm whether it's my card he quickly ended the call. In then contacted the MTN ***** line to report this matter. After waiting for 15 minutes listening to their synthetized music and adds, someone answered the call and by the time I could say Hello, the line went dead. I called back again and waited for about the same amount of time only for the line to go dead again. AND THIS IS HOW THEY HANDLE THEIR EMERGENCY CALLS. I am totally disgusted with MTN and will soon look to find a better service provider. if that is possible.
