MTN SUCKS
WOW, Just going through your hellopeter account makes me re-think if I want to write this review, NO answers to any of the other customers complaints....Sounds like we are all in the same boat here..
I have tried to cancel my MTN contract, I get sent from pillar to post, "dial this number", "please email retentions"...."oh sorry, you have to call to cancel" and here we are for the 3rd time....2nd time I am on the call with your "customer service" centre to cancel my contract, its only been 35minutes...Nothing compared to how long I waited yesterday. I have been to the toilet, for a number 2, washed my hands, :).....Sat and logged into Netflix (which is amazing), watched 15min of a really hilarious series "The Good Place" and I have started supper...which is almost finished...AND I AM STILL WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO PICK UP.
Your service is absolutely shocking....like, I would rather get struck my lightning than deal with MTN ever again..I have been a loyal customer for a very long time, and I have had numerous contracts through MTN, but never again. Goodness gracious...Maybe you should close up shop.Give the customer service agents some good references and let them go work for Vodacom, or CellC, maybe even Telkom.
So eventually, after waiting almost a hour and a half for my call to be answered, at 17:48, the lovely lady proceeds to inform me that the retentions department is closed....and that today, the 11th May was the last day for me to call to avoid being charged for May..
I will now have be charged for May, due to your pathetic procedures and lack of customer service..
You should give IHS (The international hotel school) a call, they offer customer service training.
