MTN subscribes you to services without your permission

Last night while I was asleep I received this SMS “Yello! Thank you for subscribing to GameWin at R2/day. 1st day is Free. Play now http://bit.ly/2EuGFRw . To cancel dial *464*970#. Call 135 for help. Ts&Cs mtn.co.za”

The same thing happened to my sister this week who is also on MTN.

This is roberry! I was asleep, there is no way I signed up for something and neither did my sister. MTN is robbing people with their content services.

While going through the steps to unsubscribe I noticed another service that I never signed up for. I am one of those people who never click on any links I receive from people and don’t keep any apps on my phone besides those that are necessary. I have never played games, so how is this possible MTN?

Please tell me how I magically got subscribed to something? And after some research I see this happens to tons of people. Absolutely ridiculous! Seems to be an MTN thing, I’m due for an upgrade, I think it’s time to move.
