Mtn Strike - no upgrades

Good day,

Mtn contacted me several times to upgrade, which I signed for on 2 phones on 16/05/2015. However, most of the Mtn employees are on strike, hence my credit rating for 1 phone took till end May and the other is still pending. When going to collect the new upgrade of the 1 phone, I was advised that the price has now gone up and I must pay the new rate. I do not agree with this as I signed in May and due to the strike it has taken so long. As a result no phones have been upgraded and BB, and internet has been cancelled for whatever reason. Don't even bother phoning the call centre, you hold on for up to an hour and still are not assisted. When phoning the Sales division on *** you are advised :- no one available to take your call, phone back later. This matter needs to be resolved.

Hello Lourens007,

Thank you for posting.

Thank you for taking time to raise your concerns, please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.

I do know how frustrating that this can be, do note that our management teams are aware of this and due to the current protest action being experienced there is delays in our customer touch points.
I hope the above is in order and would once again like to apologies for the inconvenience this has caused you.

I have escalated the matter through to our sales team and requested that they contact.

Regards,
Lawrence
