MTN stole my money and refuses to give it back!
Good day,

I had a 24 month contract with Nashua which transferred over to MTN. This contract finished on 30 April 2015.

I gave MTN over 3 months notice to cancel the contract as soon as the 24 months was up. This was not done.

In MAY, I called MTN and again asked for the contract to be cancelled. Call reference number: ***.
I was assured that this would be done and I would not be charged any longer. Guess what?? The contract was not cancelled as requested.

I continued trying to have the contract cancelled via email, telephonically, as well as by going into the MTN store. Reference number for email: ***4

The contract was eventually ported onto prepaid 4 months later. I demand a refund for these 4 months of which I was forced to be on contract totally against my will, and no fault on my part. (I gave my cancellation notice well in advance)

The worst part of this whole debacle was that I was charged Hardware fees of almost R200 a month even though the original 24 months of the contract was over. This is simply ridiculous and it totally against the CPA.

Can someone from MTN please sort this matter out once and for all??
