MTN stole my money

Like any good *****, MTN does not respond to any of my correspondance:

I urgently require assistance with my data account.

I have cancelled my contract in the meantine and sent 3 emails to ********** with no response.

I had this account for 5 years. There was no hardware fee and I only paid for 2gigs of data every month.

If the data bundle is depleted, the bill cuts off at R1 and I have no connection for the rest of the month until the 2nd day of the new month.

On the 25th of February 2017 I phoned at 07:00 the morning to load an additional 1gig data bundle once off.Since that day my bill has been crazy.

The bill for Feb was R148.59 (What I usually paid for 2gigs)

March: R947.08

April: R2479.04

May: R 3162.58

I am hopeless, I do not know where to enquire for help. Not one of the managers / supervisors could assist me and give me a logical explanation or solution.

The investigation just indicated that the R1 bill limit that was set since the start of the contract is no longer valid. But how should I have known that?

I trusted that as every month for the past 60 months, the connection cuts off if the data bundle is depleted.

I cannot afford to pay this ridiculous amount and I feel that I should be refunded.

I suspect that with my request on 25 Feb something went wrong with my account and I was being charged excessive out of data bundle rates without my knowledge.

Please assist me in sorting out this matter.
