MTN STOLE MY MONEY
There is no other way to put it, MTN has taken money from me falsely and wont pay me back. Not even thier Facebook social team will contact me back!! I upgraded my wife's contract and insisted it remains on top up, MTN Mall@reds processed the new contract as a top up. 2 months down the line i get a huge bill to find that on submission the request from MTN Mall@reds for the the contract to remain a top up failed and MTN just put my wifes contract on an open contract! On finding out the contract is opened i changed it immediately back to a top up, MTN has unfairly debited me with roughly R1200. i have logged 3 requests for this to be credited and posted on MTN's Facebook page with not a single phone call. should i just reverse any debit orders until i recover my money plus interest?? This is absolute pathetic service from MTN head office and MTN Mall@Reds for not following up!!! Im sick of MTN and will not be renewing any contracts EVER AGAIN!
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.
Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused. Kindly note that you are on an Mtn My Choice package and not a topup package. On the package you are on you have an option to limit the usage so that you do not exceed your monthly allocations or you can use it as an Open line. The Usage limit needs to be set in order to limit the usage and the limit was only set on 19 June 2015 on your account.
Your bill became high because you exceeded your allocation especially on the internet. We have however processed a credit request for half of the internet charges on the Two months that were high being May and June.
Rest assured that it is not our intention to displease you and we look forward to continue improving on our service delivery to you.
Kind Regards
