MTN *****s Airtime from their Clients through Predetory Subscriptions without real opt-in

Bought 2 Prepaid Sims on MTN. Got Heaps of USSD spam from MTN's "Sim Services" which randomly appears at any time even while you're surfing the web or typing a Whatsapp. Get about 2-3/hour so it's more than an occasional thing. First one was while I opened the phone. The USSD notice was right in the swipe after I unlocked the phone. Unlocking my phone Immediately "subscribed" me to a R3/day subscription for some thing or other. I immediately unsubscribed and got confirmation. Oddly both numbers have been drained of any balance in a week. Discontinued the use of these sims as voice numbers. Thought today I may use one for data to take advantage of the data deals. Loaded up R100 for a bundle and another R7 disappeared. So MTN has now drained R27 in a week. Also seems MTN is creating a negative balance with USSD notices that I did not ask for or order. Not only that but I've loaded airtime and given the fact that all these subscriptions are eating up my balance there is hardly any point in using this network. It's a shame. Being very tech savy I do have to wonder how many old people are being ******* out of their money by these ****s. Practically this type of business is against the Consumer Protection Act as no service was rendered, and I did not really agree to receive any such service. I was "subscribed" through predatory means without any way to stop this even after receiving confirmation of stopping all subscriptions. No service was rendered. Honestly I want all my money back in cash! MTN you're being ********* here!
