MTN *****ing from a 77 year old lady
I would like to report ***** or theft- not sure what to call it. I received a new phone from MTN Bayside Mall in Tableview on 8 May 2021. When I checked my invoice I saw that R173.91 was deducted daily from 9 May to 16 May 2021.
In the statement it says that the money was transferred via Me2U Money Transfer to a number unknown to me. Thus R1391.28 will be deducted from my bank account for something I did not authorize or do.
I phoned 135 several times and even got reference numbers- again- several- but nothing has been done. The answer they gave me was that they cannot help me and to go to the branch where I got the contract- MTN Bayside Mall Tableview. At MTN Bayside they told me they cannot help me and that I have to call 135.
I have phoned MTN again enquiring re the different references. Still, according to them they cannot help me. So, where do I go.
I've send e-mails to MTN ***** department- the e mails I received said to call 135.
I've called several times to try to even cancel the contract to try to solve it that way, but the cancellations department never answer their phones.
So, how do I resolve this issue. I'm a 77 year old lady and can't afford to loose my pension money.
I do not want to continue with a company *****ing from me and I think the above are enough grounds to cancel the account since I don't want it ti happen again. But I cannot find anyone to help me. Can you help me please?
