MTN - STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!

I had a contract with MTN & from the start it was a F... up. they sent me two sim cards (one for data & one for airtime) it was so annoying so we left the phone in the drawer & only used it in emergencies - which was hardly 3 times. after the two years contract was over I called MTN in Dec 2020 to cancel this contract. they assured me that both these numbers would be cancelled. After a while i noticed Money being deducted from my account to which i placed a stop order. Soon after this the calls started from various debt collection companies. i told them the above & they stated i need to pay an amount for the contract to be cancelled which i then did thinking I'd get these assholes off my back. But the harassment just continued. I have been into several MTN stores & they cant even assist me & state i must call their legal department. This I've done countless times & You hold on for at least 20mins before You speak to someone listening to that annoying hold music. Just as soon as I eventually speak to a human they hang up every-time - they avoid You like the plague. I have emailed MTN customer service but they state my contracts were only cancelled last year June & July 2022. I have requested the conversation I had with the operator when i cancelled the contract & to date have had no response from MTN. If I look at all the months I paid for a contract I never used & then the deductions after I cancelled MTN owes me money - yet the debt collectors still call. I will spread this far & wide & everyone I know or meet will NOT have a contract or any connection with this company - EVER!!!!!!!
