MTN staff dont know whats going on
My phone was ****** and I approached first the MTN store at V and A waterfront. I have asked to have my sim blocked as well as for my phone to blacklisted. The staff meber at V and A said that their Sim swop system was down and should come back later. I came back later and the consultant said it had been on the whole day anyway. The next consultant ricad a sim I bought from the store but then said that I could only do a sim swop and keep my previous nr after I get a handset. So I get a handset and try and do a sim swop at Gardens, the consultant said it would be ready in 3 hours. I have plugged ion the sim and no one can phone my original nr and I cant phone out. When phoning the nr it still says not available on the mtn network. Why not? Who gave this authorization and why is my phone nr still not available for me to use?? Why didn't the consultant at V and A waterfront tell me that I shouldn't load airtime on the sim before the sim swop otherwise I lose my airtime?? MTN V and A were so unhelpful and had attitude they more interested in chatting amongst themselves than actually helping me after losing my phone and having empathy. What are you going to do for this huge inconvenienc
