MTN spam to Vodacom Contract number
For about 2 months, I have been receiving both telephone and SMS spam from MTNYello. I ported my number to Vodacom more than 6 years ago and have had nothing to do with MTN since then.
The phone calls always come from an unknown number and each time I get the same blurb. I even had a call center agent tell me I was rude because I said I was not interested when she started her \MTNYello script". Another one argued with me when I told her I'm not with MTN (she told me I am with MTN) - trying to sell me airtime. Then the smses - usually telling me I can win something by buying MTN airtime or data. The latest one today is a Merc A200.
I am not an MTN customer and have not been for 6 years. Even when I was"
Thank you for your post.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced with our service.
We have sent the complaint regarding the SMS to our Marketing department to assist.
We do pick up that you have ported the cell number to Vodacom in 2009 and is no more with MTN.
Kind Regards,
