MTN SPAM TEXTS
I am being bombarded with spam by MTN urging me to get songs etc etc. I have rep**** STOP to the specified number to no avail. Does MTN not understand how this parasitical form of marketing abuse alienates customers and how rude, disrespectful and discourteous this is? I cannot understand what kind of person actually welcomes these opportunistic and predatory tactics.<br> <br> If this is not sorted out permanently I may be the next one to publicly display a large banner. Who gave MTN permission to abuse my contact details in this manner. It just shows how much contempt they have for the intentions of POPI.

MTN enters into contractual relationship with WASP's (Wireless Application Service Providers), and acts as an \enabler\" to the WASP's by making the network platform available and providing a payment gateway. In addition MTN requires that such WASP's be members of WASPA in an effort to bring about a self-regulatory measure. MTN does not have relationships with the content providers
