MTN SP charges customers calling customer care
I have been with MTN now for 2 years, last night I called the Customer Care line which are advertised everywhere as 1808 from an MTN cellphone, and *** from any other phone. Now please note that on any network a phone call to customer care is free! (Or so we thought). While holding on for a service consultant for almost 20 minutes, I hear a voice in my ear saying... \ONE MINUTE REMAINING"! <br> <br> So I realized that wait a minute... Why am I paying for this call????<br> <br> Well folks"

Kindly note that only if you are dialling 808 from an MTN cell number is it a free call, dialling 083 1 808 from any other network is chargeable.
