MTN SOUTHGATE : APPAULING SERVICE

On Monday 03 July I walked into the MTN downstairs next to PNP in order to get 2 new phones. After a long wait we finally managed to walk out of the store afted waiting 1,5 hours since the application had been approved (we left the store just before closing time). When I got home the iphone in question would not switch on and would only flash once plugged into the charger.

The following morning I went back to the store to return the phone only to be barraged with "I cant be sure you didnt damage it" given that the consultant who gave us the phones did not open them before we left (as if I the customer should know what policies and procedures your staff need to adhere to????)

After going around the bush the Manager eventually booked the phone in and said she had ordered another one which would take a week to come (by latest Friday). Today is Saturday and Ive just called the store only to be told that the phone will only arrive in 2 -3 weeks.

I am thoroughly upset and not appreciative of the manner in which this matter has been handled. The manager keeps shouting due process and has not even bothered to apologise for the situation. She has been rude and frankly speaking not pleasant to deal with at all. Her incompetence and lack of finesse filters through when engaging her (I handed her payslips + my ID only to be asked where my permit was??? Then had to explain why I dont need one as I am a perm resident and have a green bar coded ID)

Im still waiting for the phone that was ordered and "should arrive soon". Had I known about the Mall of the South MTN earlier, I would have gladly gone there instead as they handle their customers better.

FIX IT.
