MTN South Africa and bad customer service

I was misrepresented as wanted a temporary line that I could cancel anytime without facing a penalty, after a month when wanted to cancel, i was told that the MTN representative had give me a 24 month contract line and there fore there was a penalty that i needed to pay . I was tossed from pilar to post as i was following up on this cancellation and up to now i am still waiting for cancellation assistance despite calling several times and even writing a complaint email to MTN no one has responded.
