MTN & Sony Z5
After upgrading to a SONY Z5, I found the handset to be faulty, after 5 days i was able to return the unit to Clearwater. One of the assistants \played around\" on the phone and told me to switch it off for 30 mins and it would reset and the changes would be active.
It was late and they were knocking off, sadly the phone was the same. I was away that week and managed to take the phone in the following weekend. For my punishment I had to deal with Leseko(?) and not Peter who is a fantastic person. Leseko is a seriously obnoxious individual. I asked to replace the phone he told me he had the power not to replace the unit but get it repaired and assured me it would take 3 weeks to 6 months, even though the other staff showed him the policy and that it had been reported with in the 7 day period, he rep**** \"that's the way it is\"
3 weeks down the track
The SONY call centre refuse to help saying that it is an MTN issue not a SONY issue
MTN Call centre cannot help and put me through to their MTN Repair centre
MTN Call centre Christine can't find and records of the phone being booked in
MTN Head office Olga has no management available, she also is unable to contact Clearwater MTN, I am assu"
