MTN ***** sms's and threatens credit record on closed account

Hello Hellopeter Why 1 star rating? Because there is no zero option. In 2014 /15 I opened a MTN cellphone account in my name for my underage daughter at boarding school. In 2019 the contract was changed to a monthly payment option at the Cape Gate MTN. In 2020/21. With my daughter studying in The Netherlands since 2018, I closed the account at Paarl Mall and since April 2022 I am living permanently in France. Around November 2022 MTN started sending sms's, saying I must call a JHB number, then threatening legal action and telling me to pay to a few different sites... making me think this is a ****. I lodged a ***** enquiry, never communicated with the same person twice, was told to provide a certified passport and an affidavit... then nothing, then I am instructed to contact another department? So MTN are bullies, threats and no easy way to communicate with them. The account was closed, I have no record of the number or any way to track it? Surely they can see who is using the number?
