I recently purchased a phone for my wife. The phone uses a smaller SIM card than what she currently has. My wife is a MTN customer and went to the MTN Woodlands branch on Monday to purchase a smaller SIM card and to perform a SIM swop. The guy at the store told her that the SIM swop would be complete within 2-24 hours. A day later her new SIM card was not working yet. She then sent a mail to MTN support where she was once again instructed to wait for 2-24 hours. We waited for another day and the SIM card still was not working.

I'm a Vodacom customer and I have performed a SIM swop before. I remember the process as being quick and easy. However, it is the exact opposite with MTN.

It is unreasonable to expect your customers to wait more than two days for a simple operation, such as a SIM swop. I would appreciate additional assistance to resolve this matter as soon as possible.
