MTN SIM swap saga

I have trying to do a sim swap for almost 3months after I lost my phone. After few attempts of being told I failed the security checks, I finally passed them, however, 3 days later when I called to check the status of my sim swap, I was told the agent that assisted me made a mistake & swapped the last 2 digits of my old number around & I needed to go buy ANOTHER sim card. I have went out of my way to buy another sim card & today, AGAIN, after the same security checks that's described with their trade jargon that they only understand, I failed the security check!! 2 concerns: 1: my personal information is now updated on someone else's number & exposes my information to *****. 2: this entire exercise has impacted my negatively as my customers can't get hold of me. I work on site & don't have the convenience of getting to a nearest police station to do an affidavit or run to the nearest malls to buy another sim card to rectify your in competencies. Mr Ndaba who works as night supervisor promised to rectify this problem but I haven't heard from him.
