Mtn sim swap

Hi I went to mtn on monday for sim swap.(phone ******)They told me to wait 2-24 hours for sim to work. Went back after 24 hours. Mtn shop said to wait another 2-24 hours. I did and went back the next day. Shop said agian 2-24 hours. Im currently on hour 144 and still waiting. This is the worst service i now about.
