Mtn Sim Only Contracts
I have been asking about a sim only contract with Mtn for a long time now. And what is holding me back is that I cannot get a straight answer about one thing. If I were to cancel my "sim only" contact before the 24 months is up, would there be a cancellation fee? How would this fee be calculated? Is it a [(24-t)*(Rx/month)]? If so, why am I paying for a non existent device? One of your competitor says that I would only have to pay for a modem because their contract comes with it. For you, it is optional. so if I cancel within 12 months without a device what am I paying for? The sim card that I already own...?

Please explain the balance outstanding part. What am I paying for since I will no longer be using the data. If my subscription is R299 a month X 24 months, and I terminate at the 12 months mark, I must pay (299 X 12 = R3588)? I get the 1 month un-billed fee.
