Mtn sim contracts
They say am owing them while we never had an agreement and i asked for sim cards to be canceled but still now they say i owe about R2000 while the sim cards are no longer working

17 Feb 2026, 15:52 I am extremely unhappy with the service I have received from MTN regarding my SIM card contract. Firstly, the SIM cards linked to my contract are no longer working, yet I am being told that I owe over R2000. In December, the balance was around R1000, and I do not understand how the amount has increased when the SIM cards have not even been functional. It does not make sense to be charged for a service that is not working. Secondly, there is a second SIM card appearing on your system that I never agreed to take as an additional contract. I was informed by the consultant that they would send a backup SIM card in case the main one stopped working, which he said is usually standard procedure. At no point did I agree to an additional line or extra charges. I have tried multiple times to cancel and resolve this matter, but I am continuously redirected to different departments and given different numbers to call without getting proper assistance. This has been frustrating and exhausting. I request a full investigation into this matter, a clear breakdown of the charges, and immediate assistance in resolving this issue.
