MTN Sim card problem

I have a simcard that I bought in just less than 6 weeks ago. It was deactivated last week but I went to MTN store today for assistance. It is now reactivated as they say. I tried to load airtime on the sim card but airtime cant be loaded. I cant receive calls and messages. MTN number is ***. Kindly assist.
