Mtn Shop Failing to do a swim swap

Mtn please assist. On Friday, the 17 of December 2021 I lost my sim card . On the 18th of December I went to an Mtn shop ( quagga center) to do a swim swap . unfortunately I failed the security questions so I had to submit an affidavit and a certified ID copy and I did, the very same day. I was told to put in the sim card the following day ( 19 ) and that my previous number will be active by then but it wasn't. On Tuesday I went to the same shop again. I was told that by Wednesday morning my number will be active but still it wasn't. On Thursday I went to the mtn shop again with the documents. I was asked to purchase another sim card which I did. I Went through the same process and I was told my previous number will be active by Thursday morning. Today's date is December and Still My number is not active. I have been using this number for more than 7 years. I even had a cellphone contract with MTN (which I paid off in 2019) under the very same number, even the "MTN pin " is activated on that number .I have another active contract with MTN but under a different number. So please help me do the sim swap because I cannot afford to loose my number.
