MTN services sucks

Im trying to reach MTN retentions department to cancel a contract that expired, they're making it very difficult to do this. Apparently this is the only way to cancel a contract, you need to contact the retentions department, but there is no one working in the call center as I held on for more than 30 min. The consultants says that i have no other options but to contact the retentions department. ***
