MTN Service really sucks
I decided that I would like to go from Vodacom to MTN. I specifically want a iPhone 6. So in the last week I've visited 3 MTN stores, some of which I had to wait 45 mins just to hear that they have no stock. I also phoned another 4, all were out of stock. At the MTN store on Summit road today, I got to speak to a consultant immediately and was assured that they had stock BUT their system was offline and I was told to come back later in the day. I was told I could go back to the consultant that assisted me without waiting in the queue again. I went this afternoon. After waiting for 30 mins for the same consultant, I asked if somebody else could assist me with a new contract. I was only assisted after waiting another 15 minutes. When asked what I wanted I clearly stated that I want a new contract. The consultant then asked me my cell number and he searched for the number on their system and not finding it asked me if I have an existing contract. As I clearly stated to him that I wanted a new contract, this was the last straw. When I pointed this out to him albeit fairly sarcastically he had the audacity to tell me I've got an attitude! MTN will never see me again!!
